Description:
The Mirador Ram Luna restaurant is located on one of the hills, south of Central Valley, where you can enjoy in a romantic and fine ambiance, an excellent meal with the best view of the city of San José and surroundings. The Mirador Ram Luna restaurant was established in an old lookout point of the city, in May 1967. Since then it has been under the management and supervisión of the proprietors, the Ramírez Aguilar Family. The Mirador Ram Luna, besides being a fine restaurant (5 Forks awarded by the Institute of Tourism) with a menú that combines the Costarican cuisine and international dishes, has specialized in all kind of events for the family and for business people, where we since 1996 have been presenting the outstanding tico nights with a buffet-show called “Tierra Tica”. Every Wednesday and Thursday night, we transform the restaurant into a “Turno”, a very popular costarican festivity with folk dances, marimba music, cimarrona (peasant band), payasos (masquerade) that will invite you to dance. The Ram Luna Restaurant is located only 45 minutes from San José downtown, with a charming mountain ambiance at 6000 feet above sea level, with an average temperatura of 60°F at night, ideal to enjoy our fireplaces with a glass of good wine from our extensive list of grapes and origins and a fine meal with a tender steak or chicken caribbean style or a fresh corvina filet.
