Coni is the first Temakeria of Costa Rica, whose mission is to offer our customers a new and easy way to eat sushi! This concept was inspired on the temakerías in South America, where they have been a resounding success and every day more people join this innovative and original experience. Our restaurant focuses mainly on the development of Japanese temakis (conis). In Japanese “te” means “hand” and “maki” means “to roll”. The temaki is then a “hand-rolled sushi”. Still, if you do not love Japanese food, we have special conis menu made from ingredients of other cuisines in order to suit the tastes of all our customers. No need to be skilled using chopsticks to enjoy our menu as our conis have a dimension suitable for eating with the hands comfortably. This makes you enjoy the Coni experience in a fun and pragmatic way, as we also offer a range of sauces that will trigger your imagination and offer you the possibility to control the flavor to your liking. Last but not least, most of our conis are made from sheets of nori (seaweed) that enjoy a high nutritional value because they contain proteins, minerals (especially iodine) and are rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, niacin and vitamin C, which help prevent cholesterol from being deposited on the veins. Do not miss it, you can enjoy the pleasure of eating with your hands!
